This work is the direct application of mathematical model for the biomass dynamics of a natural copepod population with continuous recruitment. The use of this model permits to obtain the unit growth rates for each developmental stage, the production of each stage and the biomass production of the whole population using experimental observations of densities, unit biomasses, and developmental times of a Argyrodiaptomus furcatus population, the dominant copepod species in Broa Reservoir (Sao Carlos, SP-Brazil). The mean production for the year 1983/1984 was 5,128 mg dry weight/m3 /day and the maximum production was 23,979 mg dry weight / m / 3 day in September.
