Diagnosis Eight anterior chaetigers short; chaetiger 9 (CH9) first elongated segment. Eight pairs of branchiae in fully developed individuals. Chaetae forming cinctures from CH10, provided with both thin and robust capillary chaetae arranged in two rows; both types of chaetae highly flattened in distal half; from CH14 robust capillary chaetae without fine distal end, subuluncini-like, thicker than on previous chaetigers. Aristate chaetae and acicular hooks not observed on elongated segments. [details]
