Description John Earle and Richard Pyle found this live specimen of Lyncina leucodon in about 95 m off Palau, while diving using rebreathers looking for fishes in the "Twilight Zone" (below scuba depths). To my knowledge this is the first photo of a live L. leucodon.The photo is here reproduced by permisson from John Earle. Anyone wishing to use this image should seek permission from the photographer.
