Etymology From Sikorski et al. (2023: 497): "The specific epithet apicelamella refers to the very pronounced, large, pointed peak on the lateral edge of the notopodial postchaetal lamellae of nearly all branchiate and several postbranchial chaetigers." [details]
Habitat Silt and clay (76.3‒97.8%) and fine sand (2.2‒17.8%), sometimes with shell fragments, at shelf depths (46‒73 m). [details]
