Description Syntypes. From a shale cropping out on the west bank of the Cowlitz River "just below the large bend", about one and three-fourths miles east of Vader, Lewis County, Washington, U.S.A. Deposited in the collections of Invertebrate Paleontology at the University of Washington. Age: Eocene. From Hanna & Hanna (1924), modified.
