AB  - In 1991 a faunistic analysis of 'Turbellaria', Platyhelminthes, occurring in tidal oligohaline and limnic areas of the River Elbe was undertaken. Although 43 species of'Turbellaria' were found, only 21 species were mature and could be determined taxonornically. All known species are characterized morphologically and ecologically. The geographical distribution is reported.
