Taxonomic remark Luther explains that Vortex blodgetti Silliman is not the same as Graff's (1911) Dalyellia blodgetti. However, in 1913, Graff considers both to be the same. According to Luther, however, Vortex blodgetti Silliman (named Gieysztoria blodgetti by him) is synonymous with G. cuspidata, while he coins a new name for Graff's 1911 Dalyellia blodgetti: Gieysztoria pseudoblodgeti.
