Etymology "From Zhongping, in honour of emeritus Prof. Zhongping Li, who first measured and described the Zhangjiagou section (Li, 1984), and scolex, Greek, worm." [details]
Taxonomic remark WoRMS Editor: The authors place this genus and species in the stem lineage of Kinorhyncha, i.e. outside Kinorhyncha. Such a placement is currently not possible in WoRMS, so the genus and species are placed inside Kinorhyncha. [details]
