A new echiuran of the genus Anelassorhynchus from Nosy Bay, Madagascar, has been described. The new species is close to Anelassorhynchus loborhynchus DattaGupta and Menon but differs from the latter by presetal gonoducts, besides the tendency of the gonoducts to cluster. A key to the species of Anelassorhynchus has been appended.
