Description Small, bulbous shell, up to 4 cm, generally covered with a calcareous deposit. Body whorl with numerous fine, spiral lines. Operculum present. Exterior dirty white, aperture usually violet. Habitat: colonial on coral. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. N.B. at least six similar species of varying shell length. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
