Distribution Es wurde diese Art zuerst beobachtet auf der Ueberfahrt von Sitcha nach Unalaschka vom 25 - 26. Juli 1827 unter dem 54° 09' - 65° nördl. Breite und dem 144° 35' - 145° 57' westl. Länge von Greenwich.
Sie zeigte sich nicht sehr selten, aber immer nur einzeln zwischen zahlreichen Exemplaren der Aequorea khamtschatica, vorzüglich des Morgens früh und des Abends in der Dämmerung.
Später sah ich sie wieder am 12. Mai 1828 unter dem 36° 13' nördl. Breite und dem 211˚ 3' westl. Länge.
This species was first observed on the crossing from Sitcha to Unalashka from July 25 - 26, 1827 under the 54° 09' - 65° north latitude and the 144° 35' - 145° 57' west longitude of Greenwich.
It appeared not very rarely, but always only singly among numerous specimens of Aequorea khamtschatica, especially early in the morning and in the evening at dusk.
Later I saw it again on May 12, 1828 at latitude 36° 13' north and longitude 211˚ 3' west. [details]From other sources
