Diagnosis Hydroid phase is not known. Medusa with four simple radial canals, tentacles hollow, manubrium with four simple lips; elongated, sac-like gonads on radial canals, separated from manubrium; one to three cordyliform structures between successive tentacles; with or without open statocysts.
