Etymology "The species name is derived from the Greek word Thalia (flower button). The epithet refers to the distribution of denticles on the rostrum of the chaetal shaft, shaped as flower buds" (Oliveira et al., 2021: 42). [details]
Habitat Muddy substrate dominated by silt, from shelf to bathyal depths (103.1–1924.5 m). [details]
