Classification Tilic et al (2020) appears to include 3 further genera from Clade 1 of Capa et al (2011) into Myxicolini. Tilic et al observe these genera all have a glandular 2nd chaetiger girdle. [details]
Etymology Not stated, but genus is stated to be very near to Chone Kröyer, so perhaps a construction from Greek 'dia' between/through, with Chone. [details]
