Type material Knight-Jones identified the Sabella armata Quatrefages 1866 specimen (type locality within New Zealand unknown) as the endemic sabellid Megalomma suspiciens (Ehlers, 1904) (fide P. Knight-Jones (deceased), pers comm. June 2003 to G. Read) but did not publish the information. [Megalomma is now replaced by Acromegalomma] [details]From other sources
