Nomenclature Not Terebellidae but Cirratulidae. Not indexed in Hartman catalogue, not seen mentioned in text, but was catalogued by Fauchald. A nomen nudum mentioned in the synonymy of Cirratulus borealis as an unpublished Leach name in MS at British Museum. There is also a Terebella meleseta Montagu MS name mentioned by McIntosh in text body 1915:252, there assigned to Cirratulis cirratus. This is likely to be the same proposed taxon, as Leach is believed to have finished some of Montagu's work after his death. [details]
