Taxonomy Based on one specimen which Pettibone (1986:4) reported was "... incompletely described and figured (elytron only). Wehe (2006: 69 examined the holotype and placed it as a synonym of I. ovata. Piotrowski (2014:162) re-examined the holotype and considered it a valid distinct species. [details]
