Taxonomy Not a Malacoceros. Often regarded as a synonym of Scolelepis squamata, possibly correctly (e.g. Pettibone, 1963). Alternatively, combined in Nerine, as a new name authored by Saint-Joseph which is a homonym replaced by Scolelepis cantabra Rioja.
