Nomenclature Vacelet & Vasseut (171) transferred Latrunculia clavigera Kirkpatrick, 1900 to genus Didiscus, and changed the species name suffux -era to -erus (followed by other authors), but this is not a correct latinization, as the masculine suffix is -er, not -erus. Accoringly the species name must be changed to D. claviger [details]
