Taxonomic remark Galea (2010b) thinks that Leloups's (1935c)material listed under Laomedea tottoni cannot be referred to C. linearis and should be regarded as a distinct species. However, the name C. tottoni cannot be applied to this material as it is not the type material. The material of Leloup (1935c) should be be referred to Clytia laxa Fraser, 1937.
