Diagnosis Diagnostic features are lack of branchiae, enlarged square-shaped notopodial lamellae on third segment, neuropodial lamellae largest on chaetiger 3 forming long, rectangular with rounded edges, wing-like structure which sometimes extends horizontally away from body.
