Remark The state of preservation of the type specimen of Tremocoenia is so bad that the genus cannot be used. It was considered with doubt as a Stylina by Wells 1956 but it is probably rather a junior synonym of Pseudocoenia. Initially a columella was described, but it is not visible on the type specimen. The synonymy with Stylina originates from a printing mistake as Thevenin in Cottreau (1931) inverted legends and images between Tremocoenia subornata and Adelocoenia lancelotii. Tremocoenia should not be used anymore. [details]
