Editor's comment As the unpaired antenna defining characteristic of Unanereis, and its type species Unanereis macgregori Day 1962, is suspected to be a morphological anomaly, then similar doubt applies to the morphology and true affinities of Unanereis zghali [details]
Spelling As the species is named for Madame Zghal the original spelling of the epithet should have been Zghalae. The author's 'Zghali' is an incorrect latinization, but is not corrected. [details]
Type locality Mediterranean Sea, Tunisia [details]
