Amphipoda identification keys
For interactive identification we created data files that are located on a server on the internet.
These can be accessed using the module Intkey from the DELTA package.
DELTA must be installed first. There are two DELTA versions available:
- The original DELTA package can be found here: https://www.delta-intkey.com/www/programs.htm (there may be problems running it under Windows 7 64 bit.)
- The newer, modern open-source version open-DELTA https://downloads.ala.org.au/p/Open%20DELTA (This version also supports Linux and MacOS)
Databases available
An interactive key to the Synopiidae, Amphipoda of New Zealand and the Ross Sea (Anne-Nina Lörz & Ch.
Oliver Coleman, 2013).
The starter can be downloaded to your desktop from
here
(right-click, save as).
An interactive key to the Epimeriidae of the World (Anne-Nina Lörz & Ch. Oliver Coleman, 2015).
The starter can be downloaded to your desktop from
here (right-click, save as).
The starter for each database must be downloaded by „right-click save as“ on your computer (e.g. on your desktop
or download folder).
When you later click on this starter file (syno.ink or epi.ink), Intkey will automatically start and load the
required files from our server.
