Taxonomic remark This genus Jindexiangus was placed among the Magapiidae by Xu & Huang. (2006). However, this is incorrect as the presence of statocysts exclude this family. Jindexiangus is more likely a Limnomedusa. It correct position remains to be investigated using new material. [details]
