Diagnosis Corallum reproduces asexually, the anthocyathus stage being trochoid with a rounded base and circular in cross section. GCD up to 7 mm; theca imperforate; costae granular, originating by trifurcation; septa hexamerally arranged in 3-4 cycles (up to 36 septa); poorly formed crown of 6P2; columella papillose. [details]
