Taxonomy The placement of D. americana in a subgenus of Antromysis by Bowman, (1977). was challenged immidiately after by both R.N. Bamber and T. Brattegard, and also K. Meland and W. Price agree that what Bowman suggested made no "evolutionary" sense. [details]
