Lobus cephalicus brevis, margine posteriore parum sinuato, fronte angusta. Cirri tentaculares mediocres. Pedes aequales, lingula media praediti. Segmentum primum secundo parum longius." [details]

Etymology Species named after Professor Ernst Heinrich Ehlers of the University of Göttingen (b. Lüneburg, 11 November 1835 - d. Göttingen, 31 December 1925), German zoologist and polychaetologist. [details]
Habitat Found persistently inside sponges: "Cette espèce n'est point fort commune aux environs de Naples, où elle habite constamment dans des éponges" (Claparède, 1870: 453). Type material collected during the winter 1868-1869. [details]
