Etymology The species is dedicated to Prof. Ferdinando Boero, Director of the Stazione di Biologia Marina of Porto Cesareo. [details]
Habitat In a variety of substrata, like superficial sciaphilous substratum, hard photophilus substratum with Chondrilla nucula, coralligenous formations, mud with Caulerpa racemosa and Udotea petiolata, and Posidonia oceanica. [details]
