Etymology Named after the association with the sponge Amphimedon viridis Duchassing & Michelotti, 1864, followed by the Latin suffix -cola, meaning 'dweller', 'inhabitant'. [details]
Habitat In close association with the sponge Amphimedon viridis Duchassing & Michelotti, 1864. [details]
Reproduction Some specimens found developing stolons on the 9-12 posteriormost chaetigers, being the stolons acephalous with one pair of blackish ocular spots per parapodium. [details]
Type locality Barra de Mamanguape, Rio Tinto, State of Paraíba, Brazil (06º45'S, 34º55'W). [details]
