Description Dendroid colony generally producing alternating new corallites by extracalicular increase. Theca externally costulate and finely granulated. Radial elements are compact, straight to tortuous costosepta. Distal edge apparently smooth Lateral faces with rare acute granules. Inner edge with well defined auriculae. Numerous connections of the inner edges with the columella. Microstructure unknown. Hexameral with clear hierarchy in septal length. Bilaterality visible owing to the elongation of the corallite and of the styliform columella. Endotheca not observed. Synapticulae absent. Wall probably paraseptothecal. [details]

Remark The description was done with help of topotypic samples of the d'Orbigny's collection in which thin sections were made. The septal structure is very close of Stylina sensu Alloiteau or Heliocoenia sensu Etallon. [details]
