Etymology Authors: "Osedax traceyae n. sp. is named in appreciation of Dianne (Di) M. Tracey of the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA), Wellington, New Zealand. An outstanding deep-sea fisheries and coral researcher, her shipboard initiatives secured the whale skull and worms for our study." [details]
