Specimen Dall (1920) records one specimen (USNM 211013) supposedly collected from Port Adelaide, Australia (collected by Mr Sowerby). The identity of this specimen seems dubious (given is great distance from the type locality off Hawaii) and it hasn't been compared to other Australian species. [details]
