Diagnosis Coralla colonial; phaceloid, meandroid, flabello-meandroid, or massive. Corallum wall solid. Polyps zooxantellate and fleshy; with tentacles ending in acrospheres, with vesicles, or with mantles. Septa large and laminar, with smooth margins or a few poorly developed dentations. Costae poorly developed with or without simple granular spines. Range: Indo-Pacific, shallow water. [details]
