Comparison Differs from Cryptotrochus in having smooth costae and a cornuted corallum. [details]
Diagnosis Corallum ceratoid, cornute, with a pointed base and elliptical in cross section; GCD up t 3.2 mm; theca imperforate and mostly epithecate, originating by trifurcation; septa hexamerally arranged in 4 incomplete cycles (up to 44 septa); paliform lobes before S2 and sometimes S3; columella papillose.
