An assemblage of isolated carapaces and chelipeds of axioid, anomuran and brachyuran decapods in Late Cretaceous (Turonian) sandstone of the Tres Hermanos Formation is a typical North American Western Interior fauna but the first such occurrence in New Mexico. The callianassid Psammionassa n. gen., is represented by a new species, P. paromola. The lyreidid Delyrius n. gen. is represented by D. carthagensis n. sp. Other new species include Sodakus grethi, Cenomanocarcinus enodis, and Protonecrocarcinus tuberosus. Psammionassa is numerically most abundant and may have occupied the depositional environment, whereas other faunal components may have been transported into the area.
