Three species of brachiopods from the North Atlantic were identified in the collections of the RV G.O. Sars (MAR-ECO, Cruise 2004) and the RV Meteor (Cruise 36, 1975). Macandrevia (Notorygmia) africana Cooper, 1975 was for the first time found in the northern Atlantic. For Novocrania anomala (Muller, 1776) the southernmost point of distribution on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge has been established. Specimens of Megerlia echinata (Fischer & Oehlert, 1890) were found in the middle part of the species area of distribution, off Cape Bojador.
