Four new species of Scalibregmatidae (Polychaeta) are described from the Gulf of Mexico: Asclerocheilus mexicanus, Hyboscolex quadricincta, Neolipobranchius blakei, and Sclerocheilus unoculus. Mucibregma Fauchald and Hancock, 1981, is probably referable to the Fauveliopsidae.
