Diagnosis Test tiny, elongate, chambers globular and enlarging rapidly as added, triserial throughout or with chamber proliferation in the final stage, sutures deeply depressed, margins lobulate; wall calcareous, hyaline, thin, and translucent, surface smooth to grainy in appearance at high magnification, very fine pores sparsely scattered over the surface and not elevated on pore mounds; aperture a simple rounded and umbilical arch at the base of the final chamber, without a lip.
