Diagnosis Test large, discoidal, proloculus followed by one or two planispiral and involute whorls, resulting in an inflated central part of the test, later chambers widening rapidly so that test becomes reniform and final chambers annular, later planispiral chambers and those following have two sets of alternating subepidermal vertical partitions or intradermal plates; aperture of one or two rows of openings aligned in a median groove, each bordered by a distinct lip.
