Etymology The strong male antenna 2 of the new species is reminiscent to that of Corophium, from which the name “corophina” is derived. [details]
Habitat The species has been collected from littoral zone of tropical sea, often inhabiting the muddy base beneath mangroves, seaweeds and debris, and sifted out with sieve, or collected from high tidal zone of muddy and sandy regions. [details]
