Twenty nine species of free-living Plathelminthes from the Eulitoral of Godhavn (Disko) are treated. Five of them are new to science. Baicalellia groenlandica n. sp. is described in this study. Diagnoses of Macrostomum magnacurvituba, Promesostoma kristenseni, Coronhelmis conspicuus and Coronhelmis exiguus are published elsewhere (Ax 1993 b; 1994 a, b).,
The Otoplanidae Notocaryoplana arctica and Itaspiella helgolandica are typical representatives in extremely lotic sandy beaches. Numerous halolenitobionts of the Macrostomida (Macrostomum pusillum), Proseriata (Monocelis lineata) and Rhabdocoela (e. g. Promesostoma rostratum, Proxenetes deltoides, Proxenetes flabellifir, Acrorhynchides robustus) settle in lenitic areas of the harbour of Godhavn. The brackish-water species Coelogynopora hangoensis and ]ensenia parangulata are emphasized from a biotop at the border between the sea and freshwater.
