Editor's comment Until Jun 2018 Nerine faughni was misspelled in WoRMS as "Nerine faughani". However, the original spelling is 'faughni', as the species was named after J.L. Faughn [details]
Editor's comment No author appears yet to have recombined Nerine faughni in Scolelepis, but Nerine is long a junior synonym of Scolelepis, and N. faughni appears to be a Scolelepis. It was orginally compared to Scolelepis perrieri (then as Nerine perrieri). Thus the recombination is not yet formalized, and the type needs re-examination as the species could belong in a similar genus to Scolelepis. [details]
