Ectopleura dumortierii
The hydroid was especially searched for on August 28th 2003. Several stems were found in the infralitoral fringe under boulders at the eastern mole of Zeebrugge. A collected stem released medusa the next day. Medusa rarely found in the marina of Zeebrugge (one in August 2002 and 2003) probably also due to its small dimensions (2 mm).
