Taxonomy The type of Paronuphis is Paronuphis gracilis, originally Onuphis (Paronuphis) gracilis Ehlers, 1887, and it was first found to be a juvenile Hyalinoecia by Augener (1906) (see Paxton, 1986: 29). Thus the genus is invalid. [details]
