From editor or global species database
Classification Müller in plate CIV figure 5 illustrates in colour a polychaete, Lumbricus sabellaris which is clearly a maldanid. Part of a sand and debris tube around the worm is included. The Hartman catalogue (1959: 332) states it is an indeterminable Maldanidae, but the figure is so good that it may be determinable to species. In modern times Fauchald included the combination for a "Tubifex sabellaris Müller" in his database, but there is no documentation for where this recombination was published and it is certainly not a correct placement.
