Spelling Tabachnick (2002: 1472) made several misspellings in a single mentioning of the name Crateromorpha (Crateromorpha) meyeri tuberosa Ijima, 1904:
In the right column of p. 1472 it says:
C. (Crateromorpha) meyrei tubulosa (Ijima, 1904), which misspells the name meyeri (as 'meyrei'), introduces a nomen nudum 'tubulosa'(for tuberosa), and cites the author incorrectly between brackets. Since the Systema Porifera is the major reference book for sponges, we expressly list here these misspellings to make sure they will be avoided. [details]
