Taxonomy The ICZN demands that in the case of infraspecific taxa, one needs to be indicated as the typical one and this must bear the name of the species as a trinomen. A forthcoming revision will have to indicate which of the three varieties is eligible as the typical variety. This can also be used to remove the homonymy of Geodia robusta Lendenfeld, 1907 and 1910.
