Type material The USNM IZ online database lists only a single specimen indicated as the holotype from Albatross stat. 4769, whereas Okada's text described eight specimens of which seven were from a different station 4772. Okada indeed named the specimen 'H' from stat. 4769 the holotype, now in the USNM, but failed to indicate whether he considered the specimens 'A-G' to be paratypes, nor is it clear where these specimens are located at present. [details]
