Diagnosis Cerioid, calices prismatic. Endotheca dissepimental. Increase by division with dividing wall initiated by septa.The wall with a mid-line, its stereome composed of fascicles of fibres. Radial elements originating from particular structural elements of the wall (thecal fascicles). Peripheral part of the radial element, named intermediate zone, shows a row of small centers at the middle. The remainder part, or septal zone, divided into segments each having mid-septal line and lateral fibres poorly differentiated into the fascicles. [details]
